Formerly known as “Scout”, Strider has officially started his show career. His first show was The Valley of the Sun Weimaraner Specialty in November where he went Best of Opposite in Puppy Sweeps and then went on to take Winner’s Dog and Best of Winners. He got his first show point! He was a gangly puppy in the ring, but still managed to do all right. Dad (Mike) was very proud and for his first time in the show ring, he looked good too! (more…)

Dahnia
We have sad news. Dahnia, our beautiful 11 year old brindle Great Dane was helped to the Rainbow Bridge week before last. Our vet came to the house and we said good-bye to her as she lay in her special corner and on her own bed and with her head in my arms.

Good Morning
We met Scout at about 10:30PM last night. He made the trip very well with no indications of trauma from such a long day.

It was after 11:00pm when we got home and we let the others out back and kept Scout out front to get used to the area a bit and to eat. He ate very well tonight. (more…)
